Alex scored the BBC Earth award-winning wildlife film 'Giants on the Edge' and received a nomination for Best Original Score for his work on medieval fantasy series '9Realms' at international film festival Los Angeles CineFest. He also has experience as a music arranger/director working at ITV London Studios on award-winning comedy talk show The Last Leg and collaborating with British band Bastille for C4's The Lateish Show. Other notable film/TV clients include Panasonic UK, ZSL London Zoo, The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and Channel 4. Alex's most recent project was working as the composer/sound designer on new Switch game 'The Wanderer: Frankenstein's Creature' which has already received many accolades in the industry including a nomination for Best Story at Gamescom 2018 and an honourable mention for the Best in Play Awards at GDC 2019. It was also recently featured at the UK's biggest games event EGX. The game is a co-production of renowned European TV network ARTE in collaboration with French games studio La Belle Games and is currently available on Steam and the App Store (with the Switch version coming soon). Alex has his own studio where his soundtracks are recorded and produced and, as well as the above, also has experience with game audio implementation (Unity, Wwise). Alex is a versatile composer with the ability to write in a broad range of musical styles and genres; his soundtracks are often very atmospheric, and always include strong, memorable themes and a cinematic flair. He also likes to experiment with unusual and unique sounds in his compositions, such as his ever-growing collection (20 and counting!) of instruments from around the world.
