I’m a Southwest based photographer and filmmaker, my original studies were in film so I have a solid understanding of both industries, having previously worked with Shorts International and the BBC, I then ventured into the weddinng and event industries, that I continue to cover today using a Sony A7iii for film and a Canon 5D Mark iii for photography. Both industries involve thinking on my feet to adapt to often mecurial circumstances and weather conditions.
My style of shooting is ‘documentary style with a cinematic edge’. What this means is the best of both worlds, an unobtrusive shoot that captures the esseence of the subject with a cinematic flare added through meticuous colour grading in post prost production. A sign of well done colour grading is that it’s not noticed but you would noticed it if it wasn’t there; much like audio which I also use subtley throughout my projects to make projects more immersive
Give an introduction about yourself, who are you, what medium do you use, what style is you work, and what differentiates you from other filmmakers. This is the first thing clients will see. They are often interested in sector experience and knowledge, so please mention it.
