Since studying both practical Art and Art History courses after leaving school (first at Bournemouth Arts Institute and then at University College London), I have spent the last fifteen years working as a full time class teacher in Ilford. They have been precious years of growing and learning – for myself as well (I hope!) as the children – never short of exciting and challenging experiences and they have given me, in particular, a love for the presentation of children’s books and materials. I am now starting to pursue this newly rekindled and interestingly re-channelled Art love of mine in school holidays and at weekends. I have had some ongoing work for an educational publishing company, a couple of book illustration projects and one or two private commissions. Please get in touch if you have a comment or question or would like to commission illustrations or a picture.
