Andereya Baguma is an Afro-fusion/alternative singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Uganda. Andereya’s musical dreams led him from playing the guitar in the slums of Kamwokya to receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Makerere University. Today, he is an in-demand performer, as well as the founder of ‘Nze Music’ – an A&R, booking and management firm with a mission of promoting authentic and unique African music. The former Penda Uganda Song Contest winner released his debut solo album entitled ‘Andereya’ at the prestigious Uganda National Cultural Centre. He has since performed on both local and international platforms such as Sofar Sounds, Pearl Rhythm Festival, Kigampala Festival, Jamafest, Kenya Music Festival, and Ethno Music in Malawi. Andereya has also performed with popular Ugandan bands such as Msetonation Band, Baximba Waves Jazz Band, and Akadope I am a passionate songwriter who believes where ordinary words fail, music can't fail. I do music to spread a positive impact on society and that's why I call my music "NZE" music, a Luganda word that means "Me" music. Am also a voice actor participating in radio drama acting.
