Hi my name’s Joanna. I am a Polish artist living in London since 2012. I studied Art in Poland, graduating with a Master of Art in visual arts education in 2008. At present, I work as a freelance illustrator and Fine Art Tutor in North London. My personal artwork is mostly figurative and representational. I am dedicated to portraiture and multi figure scenes but I also love to paint city landscapes and nature. I work in many techniques like oils, acrylics, ink, charcoal and watercolour. In commercial work I combine traditional media with digital illustration, working on concept character design or landscapes. I usually collaborate with a motion graphic artist. My illustrations were used as a part of a video projections created by '59 Productions' in such a projects as: -Musical 'Sinatra: a man and his music'- London 2015 -Theatre acrobatic show: Kung Fu Panda - London 2015, 2019 -'Deep time'- visual show as part of Edinburgh International Festival, 2016 - Opera 'Memoirs of a sailor' - Kuwait, 2017 - Video projection for opening ceremony during The Dubai World Cup (horse racing), 2017 I am interested in working on all kinds of illustrative projects and work in both, digital and traditional mediums.
