His first hip hop mix-tape, called “Break De Silence” in year 2009 feature’s his then hip hop crew Lab Squad; and that was his first production i.e. his first hip-hop project and all beats on the project composed and arranged by himself. But the mix-tape did not work out as planned because the crew split and all members went on different directions. The second mix-tape, which is mainly an introduction on his art-form and it his solo project also produced by himself. The mix-tape was hand sold to his fans as it wasn’t going to be available in retail shops and he had no resources. It`s not easy being an independent artist in South Africa, but BlakZuba has done good so far and slowly but surely pushes without limitations. He currently owns and runs his independent record label Blood And Sweat Productions in Gauteng Province, Tembisa, and also has designed and owns a website where he focuses on promoting other musicians free off-charge called the Words And Beats Blog. BlakZuba currently has two singles released online and are available on iTunes & Amazon. Thank You For Your Support.
