CG Generalist Currently Available for Work Hello my name is Bethany Smallman. I graduated from the University of Bolton in July 2015, achieving a 1st class honours degree in VFX Film and TV. September 2016 - Visual Effects for an independent film entitled 'The Button Bashers' (2017) in collaboration with Elerby Studios. August 2016 - Short term freelance position at Space Digital working on animation. March 2016 - Freelance CG Generalist at Gelato Visual Effects, Manchester working on a WW2 documentary. Responsible for producing VFX assets of militaria, buildings & environments. This involved high/low poly modelling & texturing using Maya, Zbrush, 3D Coat, Photoshop, Quixel Suite & XNormal. I have a good understanding/knowledge of Asura game engine (Sniper Elite). Production Assistant for Elerby Studios in Bolton. Duties include Stills photography, Camera/Boom Operator & Runner. I have assisted on a number of projects including music videos, showreels, short film, flash mob. I produced the visual effects for their award winning film 'Charlie and Me'​ (2015). In summer 2015, I obtained a work placement with video production company Edit19 in Manchester where I carried out Runners duties but also Rotoscope work for an advertisement they were creating. Good understanding/knowledge of: - - VRay - Mudbox - Premiere Pro - NukeX - Mari - Maya - ZBrush - PFTrack - 3D Coat - Photoshop On going knowledge/experience: - - Quixel DDO - Marvelous Designer - 3DS Max - Qubicle I am a hard working, reliable & ambitious individual who can work well individually and as part of team, have excellent time management skills & strong work ethic.
