I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Photojournalism and Sociology from Western Kentucky University, and I’m currently pursuing my Masters in Film and Media Arts. Kentucky born and raised, I’ve always used art and storytelling as way to better understand my relationship to the world.
Images are influential tools to start conversations about the issues people face everyday. I believe in storytelling within different communities as a method to gain cross-cultural understanding and to discover commonalities among diverse backgrounds. It’s my goal to use visuals to tell stories that educate, while giving a place to look at beauty.
I am currently living and working in Washington, DC.
