For Paris: Loss And Hope

The morning after the terrorist attacks in Paris, I woke and watched a video of people fleeing the Bataclan. People laid on the ground, either dead or wounded, a few people hang from a balcony, trying to hid from the attackers, a man pulls his either dead or wounded friend from the seen by the arms. I was saddened by the attack so I began writing, which became this piece. This piece is dedicated to those affected by the Paris attacks and everyone around the world affected by terrorist attacks. This piece is also a reminder that we must remain hopeful, brave, and to not sacrifice our way of life and our personal personal freedoms because of these attacks. As devastating as it was, we must remain strong and not give terrorist organization what they want, which is the end of freedom and democracy.
