CAREER SUMMARY My academic career involves experience in rhetoric and creative design – computer-based as well as traditional mediums -- with an exposure to such production elements as storyboarding and character design. As a performing arts major, I participated in numerous university theatre productions -- taking on lead acting roles, as well as contributing to set construction. I would say that success in both of these arenas can be attributed, in part, to my ability in maintaining positive relationships with a diverse body of personnel. Currently, I work commissions intermittently in freelance illustration for published and independent authors -- primarily children’s literature. Relevant experience: Approximately eight years serving various roles in aircraft troubleshooting/maintenance -- where knowledge of blueprints and schematics is essential, as well as the ability to work as a team player, keeping communication at the forefront.
