For the past 15 years, I have been a freelance UX/UI Designer, Digital Designer, Digital Art Director, and Graphic / Interactive Designer. My diverse skill set encompasses the creation of websites, apps, online advertising, video, video editing, motion graphics, social content production, brand identity, exhibition design, and graphic design . For more than 25 years I have been working with advertising, design, and digital agencies and direct clients to create engaging usable products for desktop, mobile, tablet, exhibitions, and print. I produce projects from concept to completion, and I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from global blue-chip corporations to emerging start-ups. Before 2009, I spent 14 years at McCann-Erickson, serving as a Senior Digital Art Director. My skill set includes user experience design (UX), user interface design (UI), digital art direction, ideas generation, conceptual and strategic thinking, typography, interactive design, web & APP design, digital marketing, online advertising, video creation and edit, motion graphics, I have a thorough understanding of how these elements work together to form an end solution/product that is both engaging and answers, client’s brief and expectations. I have a daily working knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Adobe Edge, Google Web Designer, InDesign, InVision, etc, I have a working knowledge of CSS, HTML, jQuery, WordPress, WooCommerce, Webflow, Framer and Shopify. Whilst I am not a developer I have a thorough understanding of the capabilities of Cordova, PhoneGap, iTunes Connect, Google Play Developer Console, (APP delivery), Xcode, and Android Studio. I have worked in numerous locations such as Manchester, London and Sydney. Now I mainly work remotely from a purpose-built garden/home studio, working with direct clients and both small and large advertising, design, and digital agencies both in the UK and overseas.
