Latam first played music at a party in 2004 in circumstances rather unexpected and unplanned. Back then he was almost entirely dedicated to goa psytrance, listening for a while to this genre, and partially to progressive house/trance. After a few years of practice and accumulating knowledge about what DJing means, encouraged by things going constantly up he decided to give up all other business and focus on music and mixing. Started to experiment and went gradually deeper into other sub-genres of electronica, playing in parallel as Latam for a few years psy, trance, as well as techno, electro and house, in various forms, before choosing to create a new project called Blooni designed for exploring more thoroughly the underground techno house area. And more, since 2014 he has another avatar, Fractaliceanu, with whom he dives into the darker depths of psytrance. His style is groovy, hypnotic, always psychedelic and can vary depending on the party profile, audience, location, line-up and hour of playing between a harder and a more deeper sound. He appreciates DJs and producers who manifest originality, innovate and have the courage to experiment, change themselves and inspire others. Besides DJ-ing, Latam is involved in organizing and promoting events and artists through Thrancians organization, plus Unda and Spacesheep associations, being a co-organizer of Waha and Rebirth festivals which featured artists like Juno Reactor, Lyctum, Atma, Aioaska, Megalopsy, Suduaya, E-Mantra, Aphid Moon, Loopus In Fabula, Atriohm, Kino Oko, DJane Gaby, DJ Boom Shankar & many more. He also hosted a show called Oscillator on Radio Deea, the first romanian radio fully dedicated to electronic music. He played over the years at some important events and in many clubs, highlights being: - international: Sziget Festival (Hungary), Exit Festival (Serbia), Sonica Dance Festival (Montenegro), Life Celebration Festival (Croatia), Tangra Festival (Bulgaria), Cable Club (London), Club Europa (Lisbon), Cross Club (Prague), EuphoriaMania (Ukraine), Art-Labyrinth Summer Festival (Republic of Moldova), Zen.it Festival (Serbia), EarthDance Festival (Sofia), Club XLagoom, Basta Sava Center, Club Mamolo (Belgrade), Wind Of A Sun (Crimea), Vola Open Air (Bulgaria), Zezelj Open Air (Kragujevac); - national events: Waha Festival, Rebirth Festival (Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Aether), Transylvania Calling, Transylvaliens Festival, Delahoya, Untold Festival, FanFest, Iarmaroc Festival, Glia Gathering, Teknival, Birthadelic, Totacum, Solar Seeds In Transylvania, Synthplants Ekzit, Deabeancepe, etc; - national locations: Studio Martin, Control, Fabrica, WEB, Eden, Suburbia, Green Hours, Space, Fusion Arena, CoolCat, Baraka, Propaganda, Swap, Atelier Mecanic, Stamba, Frame, Panic, Traian 42, Carol 53, Casa Tralala, Parfumului 13, Palatul Spayer, Garage, Planters, Legere, Fat Cat, Spider, Silver, Avantgarde, Juke Box, Kado, Upload, Razna, etc (all Bucharest), Chill Out, Unit, Zen, Valhalla (Sibiu), The King (Cluj-Napoca), Domino, HangOut (Constanta), Brain, Palace Cafe (Iasi), Ryma (Alba Iulia Fortress), Orange (Mamaia), Hand, Shire (Vama Veche), Escape (Rm Valcea), etc.
