The next big musical movement is on the horizon, and on the forefront of this rapidly evolving industry is Fortune Flow, today’s up and coming pioneer in future bass and trap music. Quickly rising out Colorado’s local music scene, Fortune Flow’s aim is to bring the art of music back into the EDM/Dance community with tracks that carry an intricate and powerful sound, introducing to the electronic genre a presence that has never been heard before. Fortune Flow’s mastermind, Nick Benson, infuses the project in the studio and in live performance with a unique feel and flavor that only his passion for music can create. Influenced by the likes of Bassnectar, Infected Mushroom, and Mr. Carmack, Fortune Flow’s music carries a hard-hitting and energizing sound that is soon to the next recognizable face in electronic music.
Having already released a few groundbreaking tracks, Fortune Flow is in the studio putting the final touches on his first EP. His focus at the moment lies almost solely in live performance, taking any chance he gets to introduce his sound to the world and prepare fans for the release of his EP, entitled “The Next Big Thing”. He has played a number of venues in the past, ranging from clubs and parties to auditoriums and concert halls with crowds reaching up to 400 in size. As a musical endeavor that is quickly growing, Fortune Flow is ready to take on crowds of any size, spreading the legacy of his music in the most appropriate way he can.
Benson is influenced by a wide variety of music ranging from metal and hip-hop to the kingpins of the electronic dance music scene, and has been playing a wide variety of instruments that include guitar and piano, and has been busy producing his own music for over ten years. After an extensive venture into the musical world with his heavy metal project, Benson decided to take success into his own hands; Fortune Flow was born, and began to blaze trails using the only musical genre that gave him the freedom he needed to experiment and create to his fully capacity… future bass and trap. Fortune Flow is passionately looking forward to all that the future holds, including the continuing progression of electronic music and his EP in the making, “The Next Big Thing”.
