Frederick Alonso, from Aalst in Belgium, is becoming one of the most surpricing European producers of electronic music today. He was born in Belgium in 1983 and was drawn to the fastgrowing music scene of the 90’s. He started making music in 2001 being influenced by techno vinyls and it took many years untill he came up with his first album release on Stab Recordings in 2011. Losing Gravity is the frist track of his album and it charted a second place above Carl Graig and a Poker Flat release on Junodownload and Itunes. Besides being DJ and producer he runs his own label Stab Recordings together with Klaas Van Limbergen, the label arose in Berlin at 1998. In June 2012, his remix “Clap Your Hands” by Muovo was released on Ralf Picka’s label Audio Safari together with DJ TAPESH on digital and vinyl, a tenth place on Beatport’s Tech House top 100 chart. His own release My Love ft Kash Jay has been on Pacha’s underground cd compilation in 2013. Five tracks have been selected by Beatport’s staff on their frontpage. Frederick’s sound is best described as groovy basslines with great stab sounds and dubby chords. Currently he is working on a new EP with LaMeduza (Krizia Bass) called “Rush”. He also made a great LIVE set including his own tracks and sounds. Mr. Frederick is the kind of producer that likes to innovate and to allways refine his varied sound pallette surprising the audience in the best way.
