Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ BIO: Gonzalo Garcia was born in Montevideo (Uruguay) in 1979. He grew up in constant contact with the music. It was his father, the singer and song writer Uruguayan Daniel Guerra, who gave him the stimulus to study music reading and strengthen even more his musical knowledge. His carrier starts at the age of 14 as drummer in a pop-rock band. Later he joins his father's group as a percussionist. At 18 he goes into production studying sound and arrangement techniques. Produces three CDs as percussionist, at the keyboard and making arrangements for Daniel Guerra (Piel Adentro 1998, Loco Mundo 2001, Si Gusta Pase Nomas 2006 and Antologia 2014). Parallel to his studies in graphic arts and production, Gonzalo develops and interest in mixing, and is then that he begins his work as Dj. In 1998 he meets the musicians, Djs and productors Gustavo Bravetti (a.k.a. Maldonado,Bravetti & Quartino) and Marcelo Castelli, and is then when he throws himself in full into the world of electronic music, so much that his first remixes and productions are born for electronic musicians in Montevideo (Uruguay). After 2001, he emigrates to Spain, where his grandfather came from, looking for new horizons. Actually, his songs are composed and produced by himself at the Shaggy Records studio (Malaga, Spain), and they are played by the best Djs in the World, included in their Charts, and played on air on numerous radio shows around the globe... Gonzalo combines in his sets all the elegance of the electronic music. Always with a house line well defined he lets us listen to all aspects, going from the melodic to the underground,and from the classics to the most up front...
