Being inspired by African music, Growzie started experimenting with music finding ways to dissect, remake and elaborate on his understanding of both the music industry and technique in 2006. Unravelling his love for sound he took a break from studying and embarked on a journey led by passion and given talent for genres such as soulful and funky. Although collaborating with artists such as Kredz and Crazee within his first year of producing, The young achiever states he became serious four years into his career, with 2010 giving birth to his signature sound of orchestra strings with a Congo Bass-line. Growzie expresses his array of inspiration from varying artists and producers like Timbaland, David Guetta Ryan Lesley, Lex Lugar and UK giants Tinie Tempah & Labrinth.
