Kannada rap is what Gubbi predominately does. Previously known as Karnage, Gubbi started off writing raps in 2007 for a college competition. Like most of the rappers he gets his inspiration from EMINEM. Until 2012 he one half of a duo act, NEO FATAL. Neo Fatal has done a lot of fund raisers along with the NGO, Lakshy. They have even shared the stage with famous Indian Bands like “Thermal and a Quarter” and has done events for Twitter too! Gubbi experimented with his Kannada rapping skills through his song “Mungaru(Monsoon)” which has got more than 2500 downloads and has even been covered by some young and aspiring rappers. Once Gubbi discovered that Kannada rap is what he is all about, there was no looking back. Ever since he has been entertaining the crowd with his Kannada-English raps, connecting to crowd of all age groups and has also encouraged a lot of people to learn Kannada language. He also raps in German and had even performed thrice in Germany.
