Hi my name is Herman, and I am a freelance videographer based in Singapore. After graduating from Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Film & Media Studies, I went on to complete 22 months of mandatory conscription in Singapore. After that, I went on to work full-time for a production house in September 2013 and left the job in November 2019. I started out as a videographer involved in weddings, events, and corporate video. As I slowly matured in the company, I progressed to an Assistant Producer role and eventually took on the role of a Producer. Even so, I occasionally had to continue shooting for the projects I produced, and even did simple editing. One can never wear too many hats I guess! My job involved interfacing with agencies and direct clients on projects ranging from corporate videos, videos for social media, live streaming, event coverage, conferences and seminars.
