YTC - Faith

Back with his second contribution for Horizon Recordings is Brighton based producer YTC. Following on from the label's recent success surrounding the release of "Roller" by Ape Like that was featured on Eton Messy, YTC brings you the next chapter in the brief yet impressive history of Horizon. Having continued to home in his sound after his own well received release on Horizon "Guess It/Sound & That" towards the end of 2013, both "Be There" and "Faith" take that extra leap, delivering something characteristic, while still very exciting. Taking influence from a mix of vibes that continue to excite at the moment, such as Garage, Deep House and all round general Bass, YTC adds his own flavours, including that characteristic vocal sampling which can be instantly recognised on any of his productions, leaving us with two very big, heavy house tracks. Stabbing basslines, combined with hard hitting yet skippy garage influenced drums and chopped vocals are the key components which are held together with dynamic pads and synths to keep the tracks moving while adding yet further character. We are also happy to say that label co-owner Tom Luka has stepped up to deliver a stripped down, warehouse influenced roller of a remix for "Be There" that oozes late night, summer vibes. This will be available to the public for free download from April 10th, while the original tracks drop on the 28th of the same month. #audio #House #Garage #Bass #Tech #Deep #Horizon #Recordings #Brighton #April #2014 #HRZ006 #Faith #Be #There #Vocal #Original #Mix #Spring
