Tom Luka - Nightlife

Published by Horizon Recordings

Label boss Tom Luka steps back into the limelight for the 8th release in Horizon's ever growing and impressive catalogue. Following on from recent label successes such as YTC's "Be There" which achieved the labels first national airplay, and recommendation from Beatport in their staff picks section and Ape Like's excellent Eton Messy feature for "Roller" the levels of expectation are growing ever higher surrounding the output of the Brighton based label, a challenge which Tom has more than been willing to accept. Bringing his own House & Techno crossover sound into play, 'Nightlife" is a track which has a real dark energy to it. Driven forward by a smooth, rolling, moving bassline as pianos, pads and percussion flow over the top the track eases in and out with seemingly effortless precision before breaking down into a bridge which feels like a whole other journey in itself. Vocals utter phrases about drug taking positives as the minor pads and pianos move the track along continually building further energy until we are again greeted by that bassline and set back on our path and propelled along once more. Support from SubSoul, The Emperor Machine(Southern Fried), Jamie George(Rinse FM), Coco Cole(Capital Xtra), Murder He Wrote(Skint/Kasenote), NTS Radio & more. #audio #House #Techno #Deep #House #Bass #Drum # #Bass #Horizon #Recordings #Tom #Luka #Nightlife #HRZ008 #Samy #Nicks #Original #Mix #Remix #June #2014 #Brighton #London
