Insight Code is a Malaysian DJ/Producer duo made up of Sanjjiv Kumar and Harvind Ganase, specializing in the genres of progressive trance, progressive house, deep house and techno. Hailing for Damansara, the duo is adept at DJing & music production having honed their skills with 5 years of experience. Their big break came in May 2016 when they were crowned winners of DJ Mag Malaysia’s Mixtape of the Month (Trance) competition, with their mix chosen over 100 other entries in the process. Taking things one step further in 2017, Insight Code were chosen to feature for Simon Lee & Alvin’s 500th milestone episode of their Fly Five-0 global podcast. What followed was an invite to play at Island Music Festival 2017 in Redang, joining the likes of huge Malaysian names such as Zainal Abidin, Talitha Tan, Kidd Santhe and DJ Leng Yein. 2018 has been stellar with opening slots for Thomas Gold, Alpha9 and the duo’s very own night at Jiro KL, dubbed ‘Origins’, with Simon Lee & Alvin and Digital Rush. Most recently, Insight Code was chosen by Cosmic Gate as the winner of their mix competition for their night in KL.
