This track, The Phone Is Dead, is intended to portray tension in a twisted world. I was thinking of disaster, conflict, a hopeless existence. We are reliant on our phones as a point of contact, to friends, loved ones, or perhaps a rescuer. When in that time of need, and you hear the distorted beeping along the line, you are desperate for that person pick up. As you approach the tree on the hill, the noose in the distance comes into sight, and that's when you realise... the phone is dead.
