I caught the house bug in summer of 2008. First Daft Punk's Alive 2007 album landed in my lap, Deadmau5 released "I Remember" and "Ghosts 'n' Stuff", and Klass released a remix of Jean Elan's "Where's Your Head At?". Lets just say I was hooked. At first I couldn't believe how naive I must of been to not notice everything going on in the electronic world.. Rocking steady rhythms with the perfect amount of bass, cymbals and high hats swinging to and fro. The constant forward movement that has you screaming for more.. I may have missed the house movement in yesteryear, but I know there is plenty of time & resources out there to push the boundaries of what we call "House".
