After graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School, Justice Hunter began an independent career in music production, uploading his work to YouTube. His music quickly grew, reaching over 300,000 viewers and thousands of fans. He joined an independent record label, C.L.R. records, as a producer. Soon after, elevating himself to head of music production. At the same time, he trained as an engineer at Blastoff studios, where he worked for many prestigious artists, composers and fellow engineers.
Justice “Retro” Hunter is currently Head of Music Production at Tru-7 Entertainment; His cinematic, pop, hip-hop and R&B compositions have been featured in numerous video and film productions, including work for Internationally acclaimed YouTube sensation D-Pryde, in his promotional series “Road to Plan A,” and his 4th major album release “Plan A.” He has also done cinematic work for indie director Ian Phillips, for the movie “Lost in the City.”
Specializing in the piano, and having a knack for marketing, Justice Hunter has accrued more than 600,000 hits across YouTube and various other social networks. His pallet of skills includes sound design, audio engineering, marketing, web development, video editing, and animation. He has worked with such music artists as D-Pryde, Maino, Eritza Lause, Razah and Den-Z. Justice Hunter was born in New York City.
