I have worked as a Director, an Associate Director and a Photographer in my career; I have photographed weddings, fashion, products (textile), various sports events, a Redbull motor show, portrait shoots, food and model portfolios - to name a few. When it comes to direction I understand that there are a few areas where directors don't focus enough - these are the areas where I have focused my energy; managing continuities, budget management, scheduling, appropriately lining up models and catering to their every need on the set, camera angles, lighting, cinematography, and making sure I don't keep any empty space in my frames. Apart from my formal education I learned these tricks on the field working along with some of the industry's best producers and directors - I believe the culmination of my experience so far was the opportunity I got to direct a film on the lives of children with special needs called "Toota Tara" (Shooting Star) which I sent in to the Karawood Film Festival (for which I also worked as media coordinator). The movie won three awards; Best OST, Best Child Star and Best Singer. I also directed a short film on the issue of religious intolerance for a university student pro-bono, in addition to my pro-bono work as a media fixer and an informal media consultant for youth trying to get into the media industry. I am seeking a job wherein I would get the opportunity to participate in the direction of genres such as; biography, comedy, romance, music videos, t.v commercials, and psychological thrillers (to name a few) but am also most interested in exploring other genres and seeing where my skills and talents can add to their production and their production can add to my skills and talents (who doesn't love a little adventure).
