Deejay Darddy
Deejay Darddy is undoubtedly a well spoken, articulate and professional DJ with a clear voice, excellent communication skills and a good sense of timing and co-ordination. Born in Busia Kenya in 1981, and currently a member of an international DJ crew Silver Springs Sounds, he started DJing at the age of 21, getting into Reggae music because the lyrics were so educative, well stipulated, motivating and consoling, and the beats were relaxing allowing him to work on his mixing skills.
By 2004, at the age of 24, he was playing along the Ras Clan Sounds at a Kampala club well known for its good reggae music, called DV8 which was then located at the city center of Kampala in Uganda.
It’s in 2006 that he decided to venture into playing other genres of music, e.g. Old School Hip Hop, Rhythm and Blues, Jams; Dancehall, Ragga, West African Songs, East African songs (Bongo, Genge, Kapuka, Ugandan songs etc.), at a well renowned club called STAKEOUT, of which he hosted Reggae Nights every Wednesdays and Super Tuesdays in conjunction with Dj Ricky Star, Dj Mark, and Platinum Deejays. It is during this Transition that he met Deejay Bluemoon of Silver Springs Sounds.
As the Silver Springs Sounds representative Dj, Dj Darddy Khil has been providing great DJ performances all over East Africa, such as Uganda and Kenya.
In Uganda he has djayed in the following Clubs; Stakeout, DV8, The Cheese Bar, The Ground Zero, Mish Mash, Bubbles O’Leary’s, Brooklyn, Club Cherry, Hooters, Ethnic Bar and Grill

However DJ Darddy Khil has worked with artists like; Demarco from Jamaica, Maro from Uganda, Agent Kylla from Uganda, Dr. Jose Chameleon from Uganda and Coco Finger from Uganda.
DJ DARDDY KNIL is also a renowned events planner and manager, who has worked with Fenon Entertainment and Scanad Uganda (an advertising/events management company). He has specifically planned and managed The Mashujaa Night (A Kenyan Event) at Hooters, Kenyan Street Bash Edition at Hooters, Reggae Night Festival at Mish Mash, Rock Night at Hooters, Dancehall Rave at Stakeout all with the help of DJ Bluemoon. He has also Djayed with an international female Dj, DJ Olivia from Canada and G-Money from Kenya.
