Kim Jenkins is a singer-songwriter with a heart for expression. Simple sounding music is the order of the day, with songs that speak directly to the listener: no pretence and certainly no ego.
Kim grew up in a small town in North West England and found that music was a passion from an early age. This soon became her career as she began studying music at college, before going on to university.
Since leaving university, she has played gigs in Manchester’s trendy northern quarter, The Printworks, The Bombed Out Church in Liverpool, and the bar that hosted Pete Doherty’s acoustic set; Jabez Clegg.
Kim has worked with the Grammy® award-winning sound designer and producer Martin Levan, as well as renowned jazz guitarist Gary Boyle.
Two albums have been completed, songs from which have been featured on national radio.
