Hey there, I am Ladislav from Slovakia, musician and composer who has travelled all over the world until settling in Japan after marrying a Japanese girl this year. During my travels I have been always musically active, participating in recording sessions with local musicians, performing both solo and as a guest player, and learning local music traditions. I play piano and accordion as my main instruments, and can pitch in as a percussionist, singer, or bassist as well. A short list of my musical ventures would include - jazz bigband and pop-rock-punk band for children in Czech Republic, folkloric solo in Poland, gypsy jazz band in Slovenia, funky-reggae duo in Japan. cumbia-latin duo in Mexico, blues-jazz-impro group in Canada, folk duo in USA, gamelan orchestra in Indonesia. Currently, after finally settling down in one place, I am focusing on composing, or rather, finally recording and producing music on my PC, since I have been composing my original pieces long before I have become pro musician. And since we have the difficult corona times now, and all live music venues are cut down, I would like to expand on my composer side as well and find a composer gig! I do have a pro composer experience, albeit a limited one - composing a soundtrack for a family-friendly theatre play about Zorro (so yeah, mariachi and stuff) in Czech Republic.
