Currently, I am a Graphic Design Student in Singapore, in my third year at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design beginning April. I major in Photography in the Communication Design course. My works cover a wide range of photography and graphic design. I have works in Product, Fashion, Narrative and Fashion Photography. I like to make use of a minimalistic style in my works and I hope to work to make it an iconic part of my work. I do works in digital illustrations, typography and branding as well. Outside of school, I work for an indie cafe as a barista. Working there has given me the opportunity to learn more in customer service. I have also been given the opportunity to help in the running of the cafe’s Instagram page, doing quick photoshoots for them with limited resources to work with. I feel that it has helped me learn to be innovative and be creative with the limited resources I have on hand. I have also done other graphic design works for the cafe, designing a menu and signboards for them. My experiences in a workplace as well as being a graphic design student have helped me shape my work ethics and given me a taste of what to expect in the future. I am more open to criticism and also always ready to pick up new skills. Especially as a student, I have learnt to always take the initiative when I want to learn something new, instead of waiting for an opportunity to come along on its own. It has also emphasised to me the importance of being patient with people, being punctual at all times, and it overall has helped shape me as a person and as a designer. _Email not available.
