Lofsky describes his sound as “painfully transparent music for the suffering”. Currently, he is an avid Hip Hop artist, but is exploring the depths of Jazz and experimental avant garde sound. In September 2015, Lofsky independently released his EP, Anti-Hero, to fans, friends, and family members across various digital platforms for free. Anti-Hero is a very personal account of Lofsky’s first-hand battle with drug addiction, suicidal tendencies, the after-math of serious substance-abuse, the recovery process as he moves forward clean, and the concept that selfishness is the key to making the world a better place by being the best person you can be. Lofsky is currently working on his debut album, Second Chance, an indie-trap/ jazz fusion piece on his personal growth through recovery, living in the moment, hypocrisy, and the struggles of debilitating mental health disorders. Lofsky is a multi-instrumentalist from Newmarket, ON who first started playing the piano at the age of three. At the age of 16 he began to rap. Lofsky’s most notable performance to date was with The Palmer Squares in Chicago in November 2014 at The Stankface Records Album Release Party. In April 2015, at the age of 19, he released his first professional mixtape called Odyssey following dropping out of Ryerson University and pursuing music at Recording Arts Canada. Through recovering from complete powerlessness in drug addiction, Lofsky, wants to help people become open, honest, and determined through his version of therapy that he lovingly calls, music. Lofsky will be performing across Canada this year and will be showcasing his talents with his manager and team Steve Clarke. Lofsky is looking for more than a 360 deal he is a force and will build his brand with integrity.
