I possess about 10 years of progressive experience in the photography and video production field. My professional history includes projects in my home country Colombia, Asia and Africa helping community-based organizations and NGOs spread their message using multi-media, videos and photography.
As photographer and film-maker I have had the opportunity to travel to several remote locations in order to photograph, film, develop the scripts on the ground, shoot with a variety of hight quality gear, edit and deliver the final products for several purposes such as promotional tools, crowdfunding, social causes such as PeaceBoat.org, Retrak.org, WWF Colombia, Unicef Cambodia, etc.
In the past two years I have been involved in projects covering a variety of different issues regarding climate change, mainly about the deforestation in the Amazon forest and geo-tagging river dolphins for WWF Colombia and WWF UK, as well as even filmed and produced a winner documentary for Peace Boat, a Japan-based NGO working to promote a programme that brings youth leaders from Small Island Developing States (SIDS) on the front line of climate change and marine degradation to travel onboard Peace Boat’s ship, engaging in capacity building and bringing their message to citizens and government representatives through the voyage.
The documentary film was screened at COP23 in Bonn, Germany.
I have attached my resume for your review in the link bellow and I look forward to speaking with you further regarding your available projects.
