I am Mark Gideon M. Labre, 25 years of age. Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved drawing and art itself and I never stopped. Through those years, I developed and gained skills that led me to graphic design and arts and illustrations. After graduating with a National Certificate 3 in 2D animation, I worked at Xentrix Toons, Inc. as a character and props rigger for 2 years and 8 months. I am responsible for using computer programs to form skeletons or drawings by creating a series of parts that deform and those specific parts of the character can now be animated using Toon Boom Harmony. After that, I dove right in the graphic design industry and never looked back. I got a home-based job in the onlinejobs.ph platform working as a graphic artist and illustrator. I mainly drew children’s books, kid’s wear designs, and made basic e-books through amazon kindle. It lasted for 4 months. It jump started my love for graphic arts. Currently, I am working part-time as a home-based graphic artist again focusing on shirt designs and logos with a different client that reached out to me through behance. Working in the morning only. Along with that, I also freelance in graphic design and arts and illustrations mainly on logo designs, portrait commissions, traditional illustrations and digital illustrations using adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator. I’ve had the pleasure of helping out a few clients in their logo design and digital illustration needs with 100% satisfaction (they never said otherwise). If you look at my past works, you can see that I am quite a versatile artist. I can carefully tailor my designs to your liking from almost any style you would need. I really don’t have a solid “one” style so I am flexible in my designs that’s why I am a good fit for client based works. I am also a kick-ass logo designer which is actually my specialty and with great diversity and experience.
I’ve always loved the challenges and experiences that designing or creating new art gave. The thought of putting my arts and designs out there in the world means so much to me and I’ve always been passionate about it.
