Who is Maskal Dominic: Born Dominic Nkomo in Zimbabwe, Maskal Dominic realised his talent while he was at high school. From the freestyle competitions they carried out with friends, Maskal nurtured his love and skill for Ragga Dancehall music. In 2008, Maskal released the single titled “No water gonna cool up jah fire.” The single made it to the airplay on a popular state owned radio station Power Fm. Moving to Melbourne, Australia with his family has provided him with an opportunity to meet another Zimbabwean Ragga dancehall artist Dizzy Dee. Maskal has already accomplished success in Melbourne as one of his hit singles, “Move your body” made it to the top 10 in the city (Revernation). Maskal Dominic has recorded many singles for compilation albums and more to come. He featured on the Luveve Riddim Album produced by Jusa Dementor the UK based producer who also produced the hit song of an Jamaican artist RED RAT ‘RISE UP ZIMBABWE’. He is also the founder of Maskal Records/Maskal Productions  which is aiming to bring big things to all upcoming artist across the globe.Maskal released his first album Mixtape in 2009 called Move yur Body which is available on iTunes, Amazon and Napster. Maskal has worked with various artists from back home the lights of Maskiri, Winky D, Ricki Perplex, Centre Party and more. He has also shared the stage with Winky D, Gyptian, Anthony D and more during their Australian tour. Maskal is working on a 15 track album which is due to be relieased in November. The album features the artists like Ras Jimmy from Ghana, Maskiri from Zimbabwe, Gary Snypes from Jamaica just to mention the few.
