Tendekayi Mbire, better known by his stage name ‘Mopface’, is a Hip-Hop artist & Graphic Designer from Mufakose, Harare, Zimbabwe. Co–founding the Hip-Hop independent group ‘Ghetto Bonez’ which started in 2015. His music has reached diverse grounds and has accelerated his worth as one of the frontiers of Hip Hop in his home country, Zimbabwe. Mopface was born on the 6th of March 1990 at the Avenues Clinic, Harare. He attended Prince Edward School for secondary education. Currently he is a Graphic Designer at AV Brands. This artist started his musical journey in 2011 and In March 2012 he released a mixtape titled “Me doez it” with hit tracks that included “Ka babie kangu”, “Kundirwadzisa”, “Ndakamerera” “Ndanyura murudo” and “Gumbo mumba Gumbo panze”. “Gumbo mumba Gumbo panze” was aired on one of the biggest radio stations in Zimbabwe, Power FM. From 2013 - 2015 he did not release any other solid project but singles which include:- 1. “Kupanda Madhora ft Ching Chilla” 2. “Mumambure ft Glenda” 3. “Ndokagaira ft Lady Banks” 4. “Simbi yamudhara ft Don Dread” 5. “Mahure Gozha” In 2015 he started a musical group called “Ghetto Bonez” which has 5 artist that is Tinstar Waltizzy, Yung Tynoe Beats, MC Psyber, Meleboy and himself, they released singles like:- 1. “Usa saize” 2. “Aint looking back” 3. “OG Bobby Johnson freestyle” 4. “Can’t Control It” 5. “Usa make zvinhu” 6. “Time to shine remix” 7. “Ndiwe Wega” The young and ambitious rapper has shared the stage and collaborated with various Hip-Hop & Raggae artists and continues to make music and push local hip-hop and is working tirelessly on future projects.
