nisei23 is a musician and visual artist who constructs electronic based sounds differently from your typical “electronica” musician. The first 3 EPs "Milenka", "Kanza" and "Bare Bones" were constructed from acoustic instruments (guitars, piano, melodica and various percussion) which have been sampled and electronically treated to create fluid, organic sounds. On his debut album "Soft Shapes" synthesizers and sequencers were introduced to expand the sound. His second album "elevenandtwelve" was released by Rec72 in 2013.
