Paloma Rodera, (Madrid, 1987) is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher. She holds a Microsociology PhD in theater from the Complutense University of Madrid. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master in Theatre and Performing Arts. Currently she is completing her training with the degree in Philosophy. Her work has been exhibited in several spaces in Spain, Italy, Argentina and United States; and it is part of permanent collections in museums and contemporary art spaces. As an artist works with different disciplines, among which are performance art, photography and sculpture. The main focus of its parts focusing on interpersonal communication and deep reflection on art in society and the figure of the artist. She works as a consultant and art critic for Guirado Estate Foundation and writes in several specialized publications in art as Culturamas (of which she is Editor) or El Duende, among others. Her signature is on several publications on sociological and cultural rights in the academic and professional research. Also she gives lectures on urban space and contemporary art. In a commitment to teaching is professor, within and outside academia, teaching several experimental laboratories with different themes; related to the performing arts and the practical application of their profits in other disciplines, as well as seminars in the field of contemporary culture and methods of analysis.
