I am a Hmong American born in 1990, in the city of Santa Ana, California. I am the middle child of five siblings, and I have two amazing parents. Three things I am passionate about are God, family and art. It was during my sophomore year in high school that I discovered an interest for digital art. However, it was not till recently that I realized graphic design was something I wanted to pursue as my profession. My parents were not too proud of my decision, but I took their disappointment and used it to motivate me to succeed in my education and future career. When I am not designing, I love to travel, eat, play volleyball, do arts and craft and hang out with family and friends. Hands-on work are design are things I enjoy very much. I love typography, colors, playing with composition, shapes--basically anything to do with design! My inspiration comes from this world: my family, my friends, my faith, graphic artists, photography, fashion and social media. I love to design with a meaning and purpose. I hope to be a part of a organization whose mission is to assist those less fortunate. I have a burning passion when it comes to helping out those who are struggling-physically, mentally, emotionally. If my design can make a difference in the world, I will be beyond thrilled.
