The name Prezerv was taken from the bible verse, psalms 16. Prezerv has always been active within the music industry from a very young age. Most of his earliest musical experiences were gained while experiment djing alongside the war lord Bounty Killer... (Rodney Price) using his brother's sound complex. Prezerv has always wanted to have a career as an artist who performs on stage; he has already performed with artists such as Vybz Kartel, Penny Irie, and Mega Banton. Terror Fabulous, Little Wicked & Lecturer at a local talent show called Cool Breeze in Portmore, Jamaica, within the early 90's. Prezerv moved to England in the late 90's were he came to further his work as a Chef, which he did. Among his many talents, Prezerv now writes poetry, is a comedian, qualified chef, also a dedicated family man. While in England he met with a man named Jago 9 who encouraged him to take his skills as a musician more seriously. Prezerv then went on to collaborate with artists such as Stamma Kid, Stylo G, Frass, Mikey bashment, Paradyme. In 2007 Prezerv realised he had a compelling talent he wanted to share with the world, influenced by a good friend, jago 9, Prezerv started to write lyrics regarding his experiences as a young person growing up in the less privileged areas of Jamaica, he also wrote about the street life of Jamaicans. As he matured both mentally and musically, as well as physically and emotionally, he decided to write lyrics concerning his experiences, including his culture, women he had encountered, money and many other topics. Prezerv's drive comes from his love for music and his compelling lyrics which honestly speak for themselves. Talented, inspirational, superb, unique and focused are just the least of words to describe Prezerv, he believes in differentiating himself from all negative forces in life.
