Remote Control Universe are a fantastic new Alternative Rock band from Bury, Manchester. They consist of three amazingly talented young people; Caitlin on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Maddy on Bass and Backing Vocals and James on Drums. They are influenced by a number of different artists and Genres from Muse and Foo Fighters to musicals, jazz and classical, and therefore have their own brilliantly unique sound. 2012 brought their brilliant debut album Spanish Alien with excellent reviews from several quarters. More swagger than Justine Frischmann". The band formed in 2008 originally as a five piece, but achieved the RCU sound shortly after two members left in 2009. They started to write their own songs almost immediately and made their 1st professional recording in 2011. They are currently in their last year at school and looking forward to college and more freedom to write, record and more live performances.
