How can the Web or Graphic designs that I create help you? How can they help your business? Who are your clients and what kind of message do you want to communicate to them? These are the questions I ask before taking on any project. I like to think about the big picture and focus on the small detailed deliverables that the client can't do without, then build the design from there. Shortly before I graduated from my undergrad program, I began working for a small Graphic Design firm in Dover, New Hampshire. I enjoyed working there for close to two years, and it was here that I got to refine my design techniques and master the art of producing quality work quickly while on a strict deadline. I moved to Southern California in 2000, and I’ve been living here happily ever since. Art is my passion. Drawing, painting and shooting photos have been a part of my life since before I can remember. Though I received my Undergraduate degree in Studio Art, I’ve spent most of my professional career in the real estate industry; but I’ve always stayed connected to my artwork. I paint and draw whenever I can and I shoot photos semi-professionally, submitting images for sale on my profile at Surfline.com, a worldwide surf forecasting website. I began an online Master’s degree program this year in Web Design and New Media at the Academy of Art University with the goal of changing my career path. I see my future in Web Design as an opportunity to channel all of my artistic and professional talents into a creative professional life. To do what I love for a living. To be an artist. I take great pride in my work and I will not stop until the job is done. When you work with me you will find that I pick things up very quickly, I take direction well, I’m a steady, reliable producer and easy to get along with. I look forward to feedback, Steve
