I have been inspired since childhood to become an artist, watching classic anime and collecting comics, and playing a wide variety of RPG’s, always aspiring to draw as well as my favorite artists and animators. These early influences included Tex Avery and Chuck Jones from Warner Brothers, of course. Bugs is my childhood hero. Comic books inspired me to draw with increased realism, and introduced me to the idea of sequential story telling. Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s X-Men became my flagship title, backed up by Judge Dredd, and Usagi Yojimbo. I became a GM for a large group of players during the 90’s, creating worlds and scenarios for Warhammer FRP, Cyberpunk 2020, Twilight 2000, and Champions. I also became the default character artist for players who preferred not to draw there own characters. I continue to draw and sketch on a daily basis, and have added traditional paint to my quiver of traditional art skills, using acrylics and airbrush.
I know Photoshop extremely well, and I have working knowledge of Maya and ZBrush, and After Effects, and I have experimented with a variety of 2D creative software for animation and editing video.
