Ive been creating music since a young age, both acoustically and digitally, solo and in groups / duos and in many different genres so i have a wide appreciation and understanding of all types of music and am always open to new sounds & ideas both when listening and producing. It wasnt till i got to around 18 that i managed to slow down the full-time party and found time to schedule in DJing and Producing as a serious hobby. It was also the same time that i moved to University, giving me the freedom i needed to do what i like. Things then got pretty wild for a few years Djing at underground house parties and similar free events a few times a week when possible, money wasnt a necessity and so there was no pressure to perform for anybody or any expectations, just good ol expression in its most free form. I also helped organise events during this period and being a budding visual artist as well i used to regularly be designing graphics for events or doing graffiti murals in student homes and basements. One of the most successful events i helped launch is an underground music night in Leeds that now attracts 2000+ people to a sell-out event every time, for this i did all the early graphics, helped orchestrate at the event and had the chance to perform to crowds of 400+ alongside world famous acts. I also helped organise events and managed technicals for other brands that are as successful if not more so. A lot of these opportunities arose due to the fact i had a decent sized sound system, turn tables and lighting that i would rent out a few times most weeks. Despite the stress involved i really enjoyed this and alongside working as a sound & light tech in one of Leeds most infamous venues it gave me invaluable technical insight and experience.
