MIDTERM ORCHESTRATION

This instrumentation was inspired by Russian poetry. The meaning behind the work that we read in class was influential and pushing towards change. Trying to keep this sound as traditional as possible, I did not use modern synthesizer stock sounds in this classical interpretation. The body of the song is comprised of a few string instruments such as the violin and the cello, while the lead is made up of woodwinds such as the clarinet, pan flute, and bassoon. Because this had to be presented, and is being presented to an audience of younger colleagues, I added a modern touch of percussion ranging from pungent snares to radical 808's. #audio #Classical
