I am a disciplined, ideas-led graphic designer and I am also currently a student of University of Derby. I've been involved in the creative industry before I began my studies, starting as a junior for a firm called VTTV in South Africa. The benefits of working in a creative environment gave me a huge insight on what to expect after I graduate. I was involved in the designing of logos, brand design, website layouts and infographics; which were all produced to a high standard of graphic design that was driven by bold creative thinking. I enjoyed it so much I returned to England to further my studies and better my knowledge in any way that I could. I also freelance, finding time in-between studies, which include designing merchandise for public events, T-shirt design, logos and business cards. Just little things to keep my brain charged on all the new design movements/trends. Each project I work on is an opportunity to do some amazing work that connects with the intended audience and brings increased success to the client. Every mark has to have a purpose. Each individual element of your design should be necessary, not indulgent.
