His influence on the music scene has stretched over three decades but it wasn’t until the late nineties he propelled to local fame and fully dedicating his life to music. He is the founder of the highly acclaimed record label What Happens and it’s now home to some of the finest talents in underground house music while constantly building its reputation. The label also entertains discerning clubbers with monthly parties in Copenhagen and one offs in Ibiza, London and Oslo to name a few. Tim recently added another chapter to his label venture and now co-runs the UK-based Savoir Faire Musique. One to follow his dreams through equal parts of talent and hard work, Tim is an artist who enjoys the writing, production, engineering and arrangement of his own records. His production portfolio includes recent work for Natural Rhythm, UM Records, Ready Mix Records, Soulman Music, Seamless, Southpark Recordings, Starlight Unlimited, Elevation Recordings, Gartenhaus, Deso, DeepWit Recordings and of course his own What Happens and Savoir Faire Musique imprints. Not to forget he was behind the 2007 smash “Everybody” released on the UK’s longest running house label Azuli and also released on Toolroom as one of the “Leaders of the new school” and on Southern Fried as half part of Professional Losers being dubbed “the next big Danish housers” by IDJ. It has seen diverse support from across the electronic spectrum from DJs such as Steve Lawler, Maya Jane Coles, Dubfire, Nic Fanciulli, Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, Hot Since 82, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo through to Pete Tong, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez and Fatboy Slim whom he was also personally asked to remix (#1 UK Buzz Chart). Add to that he did compilation CDs while record sales were still something to talk about. Most notably, he was asked by Ministry of Sound to mix and compile volume 1 of Ministry Sessions. They described him “Denmark’s busiest house DJ” and that later led on to playing the international MoS tour. These days see DJs come and go but Tim remains at the very frontline of the Scandinavian club scene. His global success as a producer has given further rise to his profile as a DJ and seen him perform in more than 35 different countries across Europe and far-flung destinations in Asia and South America. That includes the legendary terrace at Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, the world’s biggest club Privelegé, Ministry Of Sound in London and Fabric that labeled him “Denmark’s finest export”. At home ground he is the head resident at the famous Culture Box with an ongoing residency since 2005. Month in month out, he rubs shoulder and plays with the most well known DJs on earth, helping to secure the club its unique position with worldwide recognition and 6 awards for Best Danish Club. His skills haven’t gone unnoticed and the quality level of his DJing resulted in him landing the “Best DJ” award at Club Awards and “Most Popular Nordic DJ” award by Megamind.
