Trent Agecoutay is continually working to create his own form in roots music. His current release, “I Don’t Regret A Thing” combines his love for production and songwriting and became a true labor of love. Trent has over twenty years experience singing and playing with DUSTER, in the slowly fading Honky Tonks of Western Canada. His songs touch on family, Alberta life, and his love of Outlaw Country. Trent’s music gained national attention when DUSTER, was nominated in the 2011 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards for Best Duo or Group and Best Country Album, as well as one nomination in the 2012 Native American Music Awards for Best Country Recording. Whether playing his bass in Duster or producing new material in his studio, Trent is bound and determined to give a refreshing perspective on Country and Roots music.
