Music producer Michael T Downing, started out playing piano at his home church growning up Atlantic City ,NJ. Michael devloped a deep passion for music production in the mid to late 80's and began working with other local producers and artist , supplying keyboard work on their projects. In the early 2000's, Michael joined up with Starlight records as the head producer and worked with key artist Leonard Dozier, as well as various other artist. In 2001,Mike began scoring music for indie films and producing up and coming artist, which inspired him to go solo and start his own company,URBAN SMOOTH ENTERTAINMENT L.L.C/ASCAP. He now is in the works to start a new company ,T.S.O.D. ( THE SOUND OF DIFFERENCE) a subsidiarity of URBAN SMOOTH, with long time friend friend,songwriter and producer STEVEN MALLERY, and will focus on contemporary gospel music and uplifting message music with a current edge.
