Concurrent with contracting for SES, at home on my own time, after attending a Website Seminar, I delved into building my own website, mostly from scratch. I used Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft FrontPage as starters but ended up mostly hardcoding HTML, Javascript mods, and css styles mods, etc. to make it all look spiffy and work efficiently. After many years of sales he gave the site to me. (Another piano salesman partner of his still owns and delivers the piano cleaning sales.) Lately I got into Wordpress development but discovered lots of holes in security and speed of normal Wordpress sites. I found Static conversion that converts Wordpress pages/sites that are static (no blogs or fast changing data) and makes them regular html-type pages. The pages then run faster, (after optimizing photos, etc) and have little security concerns.
