Kate Rose graduated from King’s College with a first class degree before starting a career in travel writing. She moved from here into health journalism and also worked for a time as an editor for an independent publisher. Kate has always written fiction and her short stories have been published on the Five Stop Short Story App, Jotters United, Volume 11, Don't Do It Mag and the online Fish Anthology. ​ She has also previously published a non-fiction book in her own name on heart disease and her historical novel was long-listed for the Aurora Metro International Novel writing prize and the Mslexia Novel Writing competition. After completing an MA in Creative and Life Writing, Kate turned to the craft of biography writing and has written for many different people, from politicians to celebrity singers. She decided to set up Ewing Rose Publishing to assist those unable to find publication through traditional routes.
