Clowdy Shorts Results 2014

Massive thanks to all those that took part in Clowdy Shorts 2014. It’s been a great turnout and a great showcase of the fresh, British filmmaking talent on show. The public votes took it down to a shortlist of 10 great shorts. The finalists were then taken through to a judging panel consisting of Virgin Media Shorts winners, Jason Wingard-Hasford and Nimer Rashed, as well as Clowdy founder, Stuart Logan. So without further ado, here are the official results:

1. Bartholomew and Belafonte

2. Shell Cases

3. The Faces

Congratulations to Dan Rogers for being our first ever winner of Clowdy Shorts. He takes home the £200 cash prize, and along with our runners up, he will receive a year’s Clowdy Gold subscription.

Here is the full breakdown of the final results. The maximum score was 150, comprising 50 from each judge split across storytelling, originality, cinematography, technical execution and overall impression of the short.

Bartholomew and Belafonte (112), Shell Cases (107), The Faces (103), “35” (101), The Model Kübler-Ross (99), Green (98), #Selfie (96), Lovesick (89), Palindrome (78), Routine (73).
